Component 1 - Theatre Workshop. You will participate in the creation, development and performance of a piece of theatre based on a reinterpretation of an extract from a play using the techniques and working methods of either an influential theatre practitioner or a recognised theatre company. Component 2 - Text in Action. You will create and perform two pieces of theatre based on a stimulus supplied by Eduqas. You will have to perform live to a visiting examiner. Component 3 - Text in Performance. You will study ‘Cat on a Hot Tin Roof’, Accidental Death of an Anarchist’ and ‘A Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night.’ There will be a written examination and it will count for 40% of the course.
